Ludlow – Zeynep Selma Ozkan, 67, of Ludlow and Istanbul, Turkey passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 8, 2018. Selma dedicated her life to her family and will be remembered for the love and care she gave her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey she was a daughter of the late Salih and Sukran (Sans) Akiz. She met her husband Ali Kerim Ozkan and they began their own family of two beloved daughters. Selma was an accountant for Is Bank in Turkey for many years. Besides her family, her passions including singing in the choir, and enjoying spending time with her sister and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years Ali Kerim Ozkan; her two adored daughters, Ozlem Cankurtaran and her husband Tulu of Hunterville NC, and Ozge Ozkan Sandiford and her husband Derrick of Enfield CT; three cherished grandchildren: Alara and Tuana Cankurtaran, and Trevor Sandiford; and her caring sister Sevin Sahin of Istanbul, Turkey.
