Thomas Ward Knight

Thomas W. Knight, 66, of Safety Harbor, FL, formerly of Agawam, MA, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on February 2, 2019. He was born in Enfield, CT, graduated from Cathedral High School in Springfield, MA and studied business at Bryant College in RI. His programming career spanned 40+ years across several insurance services leaders, with his last position as systems analyst at NEOS, LLC. Tommy loved life and was beloved by all those fortunate to share it with him. Predeceased by his father, Raymond F. Knight and his nephew, Christopher J. Knight. He leaves to cherish so many great memories his mother, Patricia (Ward) Knight, brother James R. Knight and wife Teresa, brother William F. Knight and wife Jill Adams, brother Michael J. Knight and wife Laurie, nephew Brian Knight, and nieces Melissa (Knight) Paight and Colleen Knight. Tommy enjoyed living in Florida, where he was the unofficial social director of his complex. He also loved traveling the world, and made friends wherever he went. He had an easy-going spirit and took a genuine interest in everyone he knew — always eager to listen, to celebrate with them, to help out however he could. His zest for life and his thoughtfulness of others will truly be missed. His family will receive friends on Saturday, February 16th from 1-4 pm at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
