Sidney Charles Suse

Southwick- Sidney “Sid” Charles Suse, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 28, 2023 with his family by his side. He was a son of the late Philip and Eva (Semanie) Suse. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during Korea. After returning home he began a career working for over 30 years as a Service Manager for several area dealerships including Medeiros Williams Chevrolet and Bob Pion Pontiac. Sidney enjoyed taking care of his lawn, loved tinkering on his own cars, fixing anything broken and spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary (Bradley) Suse in 2006. He is survived by his children; James “Jimmy” Suse of Brimfield, MA, Daniel “Danny” Suse (Paula) of North Carolina, Mark Suse (Melissa) of East Longmeadow, MA, Andy Gasperini (Robin) of West Springfield, MA, Deborah LeFort (Kyle) of Davenport, Iowa, Ann Gasperini of Southwick, MA. Sisters; Shirley Hafner of Chicopee, MA, Mary Ann Alexander (James) of Spencer, MA, Diane Tebaldi (Daniel) of Somers, CT., as well as his 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers; Anthony, Charles and Robert Suse, sisters; Loraine Zito and Rosemarie Rindels; and a son Ray Gasperini. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Southwick Forastiere Funeral and Cremation, 624 College Hwy, Southwick, starting with calling hours from 9:30am-11:30am with a service at 11:30am. Followed by burial with military honors at 1:00pm at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam, MA.
