Marie Suzanne Fafard

Agawam - Marie Suzanne Fafard, 55, of Agawam passed away February 15th at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, Marie lived her whole life in the Springfield area. She attended Longmeadow public schools and graduated from Longmeadow High School in 1987. Marie relished spending time with her family and had a special place in her heart for her grand nephews and nieces. She took great pleasure in playing cards, especially 31, and looked forward to outings to the casino to play blackjack, slot machines and bingo.
Marie was predeceased by her loving parents, Herve Fafard in 1998 and Therese Fafard in 2014 and her brother-in-law Gary Trabka in 2019. She is survived by her sister Louise Fafard Trabka of Naples, FL, her brother Andre Fafard and his wife Karin of East Longmeadow, her brother Robert Fafard and his wife Wanda of Leland, NC, her nieces Kimberly Trabka Kilfoyle and her husband Brian, Carrie Trabka Graham and her husband Colin, Christina Fafard Sahd and her husband Eric Heidelmark, Danielle Fafard, Nicole Fafard Baker and her husband Michael, and her nephews David Trabka and Matthew Fafard. She is also survived by twelve grand nieces and nephews: Lucas, Olivia and Evelyn Sahd, Elizabeth Heidelmark, Ella Fafard and Daisy Agustynowicz, Aubrey and Evan Baker, Jack and Wyatt Kilfoyle and Ryleigh and Owen Graham.
Family and friends are invited to meet for calling hours on Sunday, February 23rd from 2 – 5 PM at Forastiere Funeral home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. There will be a service at the funeral home at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 24th, followed by Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Springfield.
