Leonard P. Paquette

Leonard P. Paquette, 59, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023. He is now reunited with his parents, the late Leonard J. Paquette and Joan (Collins) Paquette. Born and raised in East Longmeadow, MA, he was a graduate of East Longmeadow High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Johnson and Wales University in Culinary Arts. He was a proud Chef who worked for several area restaurants. Lenny loved cooking family dinners, especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Lenny loved watching NASCAR with his Mother and also was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Red Sox. He enjoyed dancing, music, and playing family card games. He loved his pet dogs and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children Corey Paquette and his wife Shelley of Southampton, MA and Kaylie Dumont and her husband Ross of Queensbury, NY. Also survived by his grandchildren Aubree, Austin, Lexi, and Colton, and his sister Lisa Bacon and her husband Howard of Monson, MA and former wife Mary Ellen (Drouin) More of Agawam, MA as well as many dear friends. Family and Friends are invited to gather on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Forastiere Smith Funeral and Cremation, 220 N. Main Street., East Longmeadow, MA 01028 from 2PM-4PM followed by a funeral home service at 4PM.
