Kenneth D. Geoffroy

Kenneth D. Geoffroy, of Agawam died surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Ken was born and raised in Chicopee, MA. After receiving a Master’s degree in Business he worked several years as a Facility Manager for the Big Y Corporation. The last several years he worked for Life Fitness as a Field Technician where he acquired many good friends. He was an avid hockey player, who started in his youth and played throughout his life. He enjoyed playing golf, soaking up the sun on the Caribbean island beaches, bike riding and decorating for the Christmas season with his little helper by his side. He treasured taking care of the home he built along with his wife. He was an amazing husband, friend and co-worker, always putting others before himself. To have had Ken in your life was an extraordinary gift. He will be deeply missed by his lovely wife of 38 years Rena. He leaves behind to cherish his memory a brother Charlie and his favorite godchild Brett. He also leaves two sisters, several nieces and nephews, and long-life friends including his two favorite pals, Ayden and Ainsley. A celebration of Ken’s life will take place on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 4-7pm at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, November 19th at St. Theresa of Lisieux Church, 9 East Parkview Drive, South Hadley with interment following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ken’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
