John E. Moore, Jr.

John E. Moore, Jr., 72, passed away on April 14, 2018 at Northwestern Hospital in St. Albans, VT. Born in Springfield, MA on September 15, 1945 to the late John Moore, Sr. and Rowena (Finnigan) Moore, he graduated from Western New England College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. 

During his time in the National Guard, he proudly served his country after completing boot camp in Texas. He retired from People’s Bank where he was a purchasing manager and was previously employed at Fleet Bank and Bay Bank. John loved cars, music, old movies and all of the New England Sports Teams. 

Besides his parents, John is reunited with his loving wife of 20 years, Eileen (O’Brien) who passed away on October 7, 2013 and he leaves his son Brendan Moore of Fairfax, VT; his daughter Mary Moore of South Hadley; best friend Eugene Geigel as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 3 – 5:30 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow followed by a service at 5:30 PM.
