John R. Condil

John R. Condil, 74, of Springfield; passed away peacefully Friday, August 31, 2018. Born July 7, 1944 in Boston, MA; he was a son to the late Nicholas and Victoria (Stavris) Condil. John served our country with the Army Reserves, and later became a firefighter for the City of Springfield, retiring with over 30 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Caroline Condil. John is survived by his sister Evelyn Stoia; brother James Condil; former wife Bianca Condil; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Calling hours for John will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 4-6pm at Forastiere Funeral Home, 45 Locust St., Springfield, MA. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 11AM in Newton Cemetery, Newton, MA.
