Albertina E. (Casini) Gallerani

Tina (Casini) Gallerani, 89, of East Longmeadow, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was the beloved wife of 57 years to the late David Gallerani. Tina was born in Springfield on April 2, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Ovidio and Mary (Olivieri) Casini. She had worked for the Big Y for 38 years until her retirement in 1993. Her love for her family was her number one along with cooking especially her family famous “meatballs”. Mother of David Gallerani and partner Phyllis Rys of West Springfield, Sandra and Alan Hubbard of East Longmeadow. She is also survived by grandchildren, Kristin (Harold) Coles, Alan (Rebecca) Hubbard, Lisa Gallerani (Tim Westberry), Andrea (Chris) Gates, David (Traci) Gallerani and great-grandchildren Joseph, Thomas, Parker, Alessandra, Cole, Jonah and Teagan. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Tina Casini, Former daughter-in-law Theresa Blanchard and special dear friends Brian and Christina Bracci, plus many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her brother Elio Casini and sister Nellie Mathias. Arrangements are entrusted to Forastiere Smith Family Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. ALL FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE PRIVATE and a memorial mass will take place at a later date.
